Apex Legends – the popular shooter game on PC – is now available to play in a brand new avatar on Android and iOS smartphones. Apex Legends Mobile has been beta testing for several months. Starting today, players will be able to play the game on their mobile phones. Those who subscribe to Apex Legends Mobile for Android and iOS will also receive special in-game prizes. These include Bloodhound Banner, Bloodhound Banner, Founder Badge, R99 Epic Skin, and more.
System requirements for Apex Legends
On Android, players can simply go to the Google Play Store and search for Apex Legends Mobile. Note that there is only one official game offered by EA (Electronic Arts), so beware of any lies.
Apex Legends Mobile only supports phones with at least 2GB RAM, 4GB storage, and a chipset equal to or higher than Snapdragon 435 / Hisilicon Kirin 650 / Mediatek Helio P20 / Exynos 7420.
Similarly, on iOS, you can find Apex Legends Mobile in the App Store. The game will be available for phones running iOS 11 and above with the Apple A9 chipset and above.
Apex Legends Mobile: What’s New?
The game features a new special mobile story called Fade with different abilities like other characters in the game. The new Slipstream idle feature gives Fade high speed at the end of the frame, while the clever Flashback ability allows calls to be sent to the original location. Fade’s final ability is Phase Chamber, which allows the character to throw an exploding spine that causes anyone caught in the area to be unable to counter or take temporary damage. Note that Fade unlocks at level 25.
The game also has a new diving map in Arena mode with new weapons such as heatshield, 30-30 sniper rifle and 4x-10x thermal imaging scope. There are also other features like Team Fulfillment (automatic completion of a new player in the game in Teammatch team mode).
Apex Legends will follow the continuation of its own battle season like Battlegrounds Mobile India and Call of Duty: Mobile has an in-game Battle Pass that will reward players who complete the daily campaign with additional items such as skins and icons.
How to install Apex Legends Mobile
You can install Apex Legends Mobile just like you download any other game on your phone. If you have an Android phone, just go to the list of games on Google Play and click Install. iPhone users can go to the App Store, find the list of games and click Find.
All you need to do is make sure that the game you downloaded is developed by Electronic Arts. Avoid false translations.
Apex Legends Mobile: Download Size
At launch, the total download size of Apex Legends Mobile is 2.70 GB. Due to the high-quality graphics and other game features, the large download size is not surprising.
About Apex Legends Mobile
Apex Legends Mobile — available for iOS and Android — was finally released on Tuesday after months of rumors, leaks and a soft launch. EA’s popular free warroyale was first introduced on PC, PS4 and Xbox One back in 2019, so it took three years for the mobile port to arrive. At that time, the popular Fortnite, PUBG / BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile took their place. Moreover, Apex Legends is a complex game with many controls, combinations and chaos. The natural way to play the game is with a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. Moving these controls onto a six- or seven-inch device for sale seems like a daunting task. So, did EA release it?
Although EA has introduced the soft version of Apex Legends Mobile many times, it seemed incomplete. Blank sections needed to be filled in before the full version was loaded. Respawn – best known for its Titanfall vibe, which includes Apex Legends – has finally come up with a global variation of the game. After over a week of reviewing, here is my full review. (I spent time with Apex Legends Mobile on an iPhone 12 over Wi-Fi.)
The Apex Legends Mobile app for iOS has a download size of 5.02 GB and is shipped to install all game content including additional themes and maps. I surprisingly had to download Kings Canyon – the first map introduced in the game when it launched a few years ago – separately. World’s Edge along with several Team Deathmatch (TDM) maps and Arenas are included in the pre-order.
